Winter (December – February)
- Lawn Fertilization – Winter fertilizer helps promote root growth – Dec
- Winter Leaf Removal – Fall cleanups continue as needed, finish by Christmas – Dec
- Snow Removal – HOA and Commercial – Nov-Mar
- Dormant Pruning – Shrubs and Small Trees (under 8ft) – Dec-Feb
- Complementary winter cleanup – Removal of winter debris build-up/trash (if LandCare contracts signed by Jan. 31st) Jan-early Feb
Spring (March – May)
- Spring cleanup/mulching – Redefine bed edges, fertilize shrubs/trees, pre-emergent in landscaping beds, light trimming of shrubs, mulching – Feb-Apr
- Bi-weekly/Monthly landscape bed maintenance starts – May
- Summer Annuals – May (completed by Mother’s Day)
- Mowing – Weekly, weather permitting – March-Apr
- Irrigation System – Startup/backflow testing – Mar-Apr
- Lawn Treatments – Round #1 & 2 – pre-emergent crabgrass prevention and then Broadleaf weed control plus fertilizer – Mar-Apr
Summer (June – August)
- Bi-weekly/Monthly maintenance continues – June-Aug
- Lawn Treatment – Round #3 & 4 – Insect Control, then fertilizer – June-Aug
- Mowing continues weekly – July and Aug if it is hot and dry 2 mows will be skipped – June-Aug
- Pruning – First round of pruning on spring bloomers – June
- Irrigation System – Mid-season check, and adjustments according to weather – June-Aug
- Summer Annuals – Fertilize and deadhead – June-Aug
Fall (September – November)
- Annual color – Fall annuals installed – Sept
- Mowing continues – Weekly as needed – Sept-Nov
- Lawn Treatments – Round #4 & 5 – Spot spray for weeds, and Fertilizer
- Pruning – Second pruning visit – Sept
- Bi-weekly/Monthly landscape bed maintenance – weeding, deadheading, light trimming, and light leaf cleanup (last month of maintenance is Oct). – Sept-Oct
- Fall Cleanup/Leaf Removal – finish cutbacks, clean up leaves, pre-emergent all beds, and fertilize. – Nov and Dec
- Aerations/Overseeding – Core aeration & Broadcast seeding – Sept
- Irrigation System – Winterization/shutdown – Oct-Nov
- Winter Décor – Winter pot arrangement – Week after Thanksgiving
